One Year Photo Shoot

Again my sister in-law Angela amazes me! A few weeks ago we went out with Hat to take some one year pictures.... Roo wasn't cooperating as she was super tired... so we tried it again a week later, and man was she a twirp! Her personality totally showed! Here are some of my absolute favs from our session with Angela... to see the rest of our adorable girl check out our photo blog: http://markandbrittany.shutterfly.com/

Thank you Ang for another amazing session and absolutely stunning pictures to remember our girl at one! We love you Auntie Angela! To see what other amazing picture Ang has taken, take a peek at her blog: .mom-e-memoirs

Our Birthday Girl!

Our sweet girl turned 1 on April 30 (Yes, I am a month behind). Not sure how this day should make a mama feel... for the most part I was excited, but at the same time, a piece of my heart was breaking... But as I said for the most part I was excited.. I was excited to throw Hatley a birthday party, and had dreamed about this for a few months coming up to the big day; ask Mark =) It was PINK and Green John Deer theme for our island-farming girl, with cupcakes galore (thanks to my mama for helping me decorate them!), and about 40 people there. It was tons of fun, with a pinata, made by yours truely (which was way fun, it honestly is a relaxing thing for me to do!) We held it in Daddy's shop, our house is too tiny, and daddy was a sweetheart for doing some cleaning before hand... it worked out perfectly. It was a little cold out, but the sun was nice enough to come out for a little bit...Anyway, we will get to the pictures, that is what it's all about right? Pictures of the cute Birthday girl?

Auntie Kara & Uncle Joe - Kara is my BFF from College & Kappa Delta, and also my maid of honor. It was so special to have them here for H's big day!

Our dear friend Shai Ann used to watch Hatley 2 days a week before her sweet little girl Ellie arrived. Hatley loved playing out at their house, and loved Lane... Lane brought H flowers for her birthday! Lane, watch out! Hatley may be coming after you in a few years!

After an early afternoon of fun, our girl was worn out and took a 3 hour nap! It certainly was a fun day! Hatley Elizabeth, I know Mommy doesn't want you to grow up, but your personality is sure coming out and we Love it! It is fun watching your grow as much as it is sad... but we are so glad we get to be a part of it! We love you soooooo much and are so very proud of the lil gal you are turning into! Thanks for making us smile each and every day!

Happy Birthday Roo!
